POLICY: ANHO Preventative Airborne Infection Spread

PURPOSE: To protect visitors, students, staff, & faculty from contracting and/or spreading the airborne infection caused by Corona Virus/COVID-19 or other pathogens.

Preventative measures to be adhered to:

• Professional cleaning school bathrooms twice a day.
• Do not congregate in atrium, public spaces, parking lot, clinical areas, break areas, and lobby – Leave the building or clinical area immediately.
• If fever or ill, stay home. Follow CDC quarantine rules if applicable.
• Use hand sanitizers when entering and leaving each room/area, and after contact with persons or equipment.
• Frequently wash hands for at least 20 seconds.
• Follow CDC Guidelines for an exposure
• Avoid face to face meetings if possible – use teleconferences instead or text messaging.
• Clean each classroom, & office of any clutter or materials left on surfaces, so that sanitization may clean surfaces, & clutter will not carry pathogenic particles.
